Nashville, TN…December 2, 2010… Over 200,000 people spent “a morning” or “A Night” with the Chapmans this fall, thanks to appearances at Women of Faith conferences and their nationwide concert events. The “A Night with The Chapmans” tour saw sold out audiences throughout the country, which included the entire Chapman clan, garnering an overwhelming response in their invitation to join the movement to care for orphans through the ministry they founded, Show Hope.

"From the first time I heard about Steven’s vision for this tour, I knew it was going to be a unique, once-in-a-lifetime event,” said Life Events Director Mike Alley with SHINE-FM. “It connected with people on many levels and delivered on its promise of a night filled with hope. And I was so pleased to see, in the flood of fan comments after our shows, how many of those comments ended with the same three words: Best Concert Ever!"

The five-time GRAMMY ® Award winning artist performed some of his greatest classics including “Dive,” “The Great Adventure,” “Cinderella” and more in addition to personal requests fans sent in via Steven Curtis Chapman’s website. He also closed the show with the heartfelt and compelling tracks “SEE” and “Spring Is Coming” from his latest project Beauty Will Rise (2009).

Additionally, Mary Beth brought her New York Times Best-Selling book Choosing To See to life as she spoke candidly about her relationship with her husband, her struggles for emotional balance and living with grief. Mary Beth’s humor had audiences laughing out loud, while her vulnerable honesty brought some to tears.

While people have been exposed to the musical talents of Caleb and Will as they play for their father, it was on this unique tour that the Chapman sons were able to express their own style of music as they made their performing debut with their band CALEB.

This week Chapman will head to New York and visit Fox & Friends for a LIVE interview tomorrow, Friday December 3; Good Morning America, to tape a segment that will air December 30; and Huckabee, an appearance that is slated to air December 11, all to sing his new song “Meant To Be” heard on VeggieTales’ new DVD It’s A Meaningful Life, available now. The DVD also features the voice of Chapman’s daughter Stevey Joy as “Emma the Rhubarb.”

In other exciting news, last night Chapman was nominated for his 15th GRAMMY ® Award for “Best Pop/Contemporary Gospel Album” for his latest release Beauty Will Rise. The 53rd Annual GRAMMY® Awards will take place February 13, 2011 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA. The ceremony will be broadcast LIVE on CBS at 8pm EST/PT.
